War of the Worlds is an American post-apocalyptic sci-fi series created by Howard Overman, based on the novel of the same name. The plot takes place in modern-day Europe and centers on a Scientist who discovers a signal from another universe and considers it evidence of advanced intelligent alien life. Alan must unwrap his twisted mentality to stop him from murdering again.
Things get worse when Sam is willing to confront crucial issues. City on a Hill is an American crime drama created by Charlie MacLean. The show centers in Boston in early 1990, where crime, corruption, and racism were all common. To make things worse they were supported by local police organizations. The major plot revolves around the state’s attorney DeCourcy Ward, who desires improvement and forms an unexpected partnership with a brave FBI agent, Jackie Rower, who hopes to manipulate Boston’s criminal justice system.
But when this strange alliance goes up against a family of armored vehicle thieves, this matter transforms into the change Boston needs by reforming the faulty criminal justice system in the city. Overall, this is a top-notch show with excellent acting and writing, and it may take three-four episodes to attract you, but you have to stick with it, it’s worth it.
